at the Le Meridien Hotel, New Delhi, India.

Nov 21, 2022: STAT Media Group is proud to present the fourth edition of the Aerospace & Defence South Asia Summit, with the theme "Future of Aircraft Maintenance in India", after the last successful outing in 2020. The entire Aerospace industry is getting back on its feet and ready to propel forward with extra vigor and enthusiasm. The Government of India has put the progress of Indian civil aviation on a fast track by looking at the increasing demand and investment opportunities. The Ministry of Civil Aviation is leaving no stone unturned to establish India as a global leader in aviation.

The amount of foreign investment coming in from players, like Airbus, Rolls- Royce, and GE Aviation, is a sign that the world is looking at India as a potential hub for aircraft MRO services.

The Indian civil aviation Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul(MRO) market is currently worth around USD 900 Million, according to GoI’s Invest India initiative. India's MRO facilities would need to increase in size to accommodate the growing number of airports and aircraft in the nation.

As a result, it is projected to increase at a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of roughly 14– 15% to $ 4.33B by 2025.

Looking at the huge scope for the Aerospace & Defence sectors, various states in India have modified their policies offering incentivized solutions and ‘ease of doing business’ to attract foreign and domestic players.
